Paid support and consulting

Build on madrileño with the team that wrote it.

Iterators is a software consulting company. We've built products for founders and product teams since 2013, and madrileño is the part of that we could put in a repository. If you're starting on it, we can get you further than the docs alone.

Why this template exists

We kept rebuilding the same backend.

Project after project, the first two months looked the same: sign-in, background jobs, events that can't be lost, flags, tracing. Work nobody is paying you to do twice.

So we stopped rebuilding it. madrileño is that work in the open, on the same terms we use ourselves, and the manifesto is the reasoning behind it. Hiring us buys the part that doesn't fit in a repository: the judgement about what to keep, what to delete and what to build next.

How we help

Four ways in.

Kickoff

We stand your project up on the template and shape the first modules around your domain, with your team in the room from day one.

Build

We build the product on it, backend, web and mobile, alongside your people or as the whole team. You own every line and every decision.

Review

A second pair of eyes on architecture, security and the parts of the template you changed, before they meet real traffic.

Support

Upgrades from upstream, incidents and the awkward questions, answered by the people who wrote the code.

Track record

Hundreds of projects since 2013.

Fintech, healthtech, broadcasting, machine learning, HR. Founders raising a first round, and companies that already had a platform team and needed more hands on it.

We've also built whole engineering teams for clients and handed them over, which is usually the harder half of the job.

Who this is for

Small teams with a deadline.

Founders and product teams who need a backend that holds up, without hiring a platform team to keep it that way.

Tell us what you're building and where you're stuck. We answer quickly, and we say no when we're not the right people.
